Atlanta Falcons Release Defensive End Drake Jackson

The Atlanta Falcons announced the release of defensive end Drake Jackson on Monday as part of roster adjustments. Jackson originally signed to Atlanta's practice squad after being released from the Commanders' injured reserve list in September, later earning a promotion to the active roster last month to play in two games. The Falcons did not immediately fill his roster spot, maintaining flexibility as defensive ends James Pearce and Yasir Abdullah near returns.
