Joe Alt Returns From Neck Injury to Lead Chargers Offense

Los Angeles Chargers offensive tackle Joe Alt returned from a two-game absence due to a neck injury and immediately resumed his role as the team's top-graded offensive player against the Rams. Alt posted an elite 89.9 pass block grade, anchoring an offensive line that provided Justin Herbert with strong protection up front. Despite the strong protection, the Chargers struggled to capitalize offensively in their matchup against Los Angeles.
