Jahmyr Gibbs Delivers MVP-Caliber Performance for Lions

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs continued a historic 2026 campaign during a Week 8 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Gibbs leads the NFL with 149.9 scrimmage yards per game, 51 missed tackles forced, and 27 runs of 10+ yards while averaging 1.4 touchdowns per contest. His explosive playmaking and 1,900-yard rushing pace position him as a legitimate non-quarterback NFL MVP candidate for the 6-2 Detroit Lions.
