Mike Washington Jr. Takes Lead Backfield Role for Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders running back Mike Washington Jr. commanded a 60% snap share and led the team with 25 carries for 83 yards in a 38-33 victory over the New York Jets. Head coach Klint Kubiak indicated Washington's heavy usage over Ashton Jeanty reflects an ongoing operational shift rather than a temporary change. Washington's surge on early downs establishes him as a primary waiver pickup option heading into Week 9 action.
