Otto Kemp Earns Poor Report Card After Difficult 2026 Season

Otto Kemp received a D- grade following a difficult 2026 campaign that ended with him striking out against Chris Sale in the National League Wild Card Series. Placed into a short-side platoon role in left field, Kemp struggled mightily, going 2.05 in initial action and spending months in the minor leagues. Despite high hopes following his 2025 rookie season and recovery from a fractured kneecap, his offensive and defensive struggles made his role a major disappointment for Philadelphia.
