Stephen Curry Sits Out Clippers Game, Expected Back Monday

Stephen Curry sat out Sunday's 124-114 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers alongside Draymond Green, resting ahead of his expected return on Monday. In Curry's absence, rookie Yaxel Lendeborg poured in 37 points, marking the highest single-game scoring performance by a Golden State Warriors rookie since Curry dropped 42 points in his 2009-10 debut season. Curry hit the 30-point mark eight times during his rookie year. Lendeborg stepped up as primary scorer while Curry rested.
