Cyrus Allen Sees Season-High Workload in Chiefs Week 8 Loss

Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Cyrus Allen stepped up to play 30 snaps, including 22 reps on pass plays, during a 28-24 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 8. Allen out-snapped second-year wideouts Jalen Royals and Andrew Armstrong, catching two passes on three targets for 20 yards. His expanding role highlights a notable upward trajectory on the depth chart alongside teammate Xavier Worthy, who led skill players with 64 snaps, and Rashee Rice returning from a hamstring tweak.
