Albert Suárez Elects Free Agency After Clearing Waivers With Orioles

Baltimore Orioles pitcher Albert Suárez has elected free agency after successfully clearing waivers as part of the team's initial offseason roster moves. Although the veteran right-hander opted to enter the open market rather than take a minor league assignment, his departure does not rule out a potential return to the Orioles organization for the 2027 season as free agency officially gets underway across Major League Baseball.
