Kyshawn George Secured Through 2027-28 as Wizards Exercise Option

The Washington Wizards have officially exercised the fourth-year team option on 2024 first-round pick Kyshawn George. The move keeps George under contract through the 2027-28 season at $5.4 million. Furthermore, George will become eligible to sign a rookie-scale contract extension starting July 1, as the Wizards continue to lock in their entire 2024 draft class to build foundational long-term depth.
