Darius Acuff Jr. Thrives as Kings Face Internal Roster Friction

Sacramento Kings rookie guard Darius Acuff Jr., the No. 7 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, is off to a stellar start to his career, averaging 26 points per game through his first six contests. However, reports indicate teammate Domantas Sabonis is unenthused about playing with the ball-dominant guard, creating internal roster tension. With the Kings starting 0-6, Acuff Jr. remains a central focal point of Sacramento's long-term rebuilding strategy.
