Bryce McGowens Struck by Intentional Elbow in Pelicans Victory

New Orleans Pelicans guard Bryce McGowens was the victim of an off-the-ball intentional elbow to the face from Hawks rookie Kingston Flemings during Saturday's 121-99 win over Atlanta. The play occurred after McGowens blocked a layup attempt by Flemings, leading to a transition bucket. The incident resulted in Flemings receiving a technical foul, an ejection, and a subsequent one-game suspension issued by the NBA on Sunday.
