Orioles Decline Luis Robert's $20 Million Option for 2027

The Baltimore Orioles have declined outfielder Luis Robert's $20 million club option for the 2027 season, triggering a $2 million buyout. Claimed off waivers from the New York Mets on August 31, Robert appeared in just three games for Baltimore before landing on the injured list with hamstring issues. The 2023 All-Star struggled throughout the 2026 campaign, batting .221 with 11 home runs and 26 RBIs over 61 total games.
