Kenny Gainwell Expected to Play Sunday Despite Hip Designation

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Kenny Gainwell is expected to play in Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Falcons. After leaving last week's win over Carolina with a hip injury, Gainwell progressed from a Wednesday absence to a limited Thursday practice and a full session on Friday. Tagged as questionable, Gainwell will have his official game status finalized approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
