Logan O'Connor Misses Game Following Passing of His Father

Logan O'Connor was ruled out for the Colorado Avalanche's matchup against the Calgary Flames on Saturday. Head coach Jared Bednar confirmed O'Connor's absence after the forward missed Friday's practice to attend the funeral of his father, Myles. In his place, Colorado recalled forward Gavin Brindley from their AHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles, to bolster depth ahead of their Halloween night contest at Ball Arena.
