Joel Embiid Ruled Out for Saturday's Game Against Hornets

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid will sit out Saturday's game against the Charlotte Hornets on the second leg of a back-to-back set due to plantar fasciitis management. This marks the first time this season that Philadelphia will play without both Embiid and LeBron James available. Embiid, who is averaging 4.8 assists per game, takes a planned night off for workload management as the Sixers rely on their depth.
