Tanner McKee Set to Start for Eagles with Jalen Hurts Sidelined

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee is taking over starting duties for Sunday Night Football against the Washington Commanders with Jalen Hurts sidelined by blood clots. McKee, a 2023 sixth-round pick out of Stanford in his fourth season, earned the top backup job after Philadelphia released Andy Dalton on Oct. 9. Across four career NFL starts, the 26-year-old pocket passer has completed 61.3% of his passes for 1,023 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions.
