Jake McCarthy Positioned as Potential Trade Chip for Colorado Rockies

Colorado Rockies outfielder Jake McCarthy has emerged as a possible trade candidate ahead of the winter lockout deadline. McCarthy posted a solid .291/.334/.475 slash line alongside 15 home runs and 32 stolen bases in 2026 while playing all three outfield positions. Although his defensive range and home-road splits raise questions, his speed and affordability make him an attractive piece if Colorado trades for pitching.
