Joe Alt Returns From Neck Injury to Protect Justin Herbert Against Rams

Chargers offensive tackle Joe Alt will return to action Sunday against the Rams after missing two games with a neck injury. Alt's return instantly bolsters a banged-up Los Angeles offensive line that has allowed quarterback Justin Herbert to be sacked nine times in his absence. Coming off the team's bye week, Alt steps back into his role as Herbert's blindside protector as the winless Chargers aim to jumpstart their league-worst scoring offense against their crosstown rivals.
