Seth Jones Breaks Panthers Record for Defenseman Points in a Month
Seth Jones tallied a goal and two assists while blocking three shots in Friday's 5-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets, capping October with 18 points (two goals, 16 assists) to set a Florida Panthers record for most points by a defenseman in any single month. The milestone broke Keith Yandle's previous mark of 17 points set in March 2018. The performance marked Jones' second consecutive three-point effort. He currently ranks third among NHL defensemen in scoring with 18 points through 14 games.
