Brandt Clarke Avoids Serious Injury, Practiced Friday After Boarding Hit

Los Angeles Kings defenseman Brandt Clarke avoided serious injury after being hit into the glass by Ottawa Senators forward Hayden Hodgson during Thursday's game. Clarke did not return to the contest following the hit, which resulted in a five-minute major penalty, a game misconduct, and a two-game suspension for Hodgson. Encouragingly, Clarke was able to participate in the Kings' practice on Friday.
