Karl-Anthony Towns Cleared to Play Friday Against Philadelphia 76ers

New York Knicks big man Karl-Anthony Towns has been officially cleared to play in Friday's NBA Cup matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. Towns had been dealing with a wrist injury prior to receiving medical clearance ahead of tip-off. His availability provides a major boost to New York's frontcourt rotation as they look to capitalize on Philadelphia missing key starters in a crucial Atlantic Division battle.
