Ziaire Williams Ruled Out for Lakers' NBA Cup Opener vs. Warriors

Los Angeles Lakers wing Ziaire Williams will miss Friday night's NBA Cup opener against the Golden State Warriors due to a left foot injury. This marks his second consecutive absence after missing Wednesday's win over the Clippers. Considered day-to-day, the 25-year-old has thrived as a starter this season, averaging 11.3 points on 57.1% shooting and 46.7% from 3-point range, alongside 1.5 steals per game on a one-year, $2.8 million deal.
