Jeff Criswell Reflects on Bumpy 2026 Return From Elbow Surgery

Colorado Rockies reliever Jeff Criswell logged a 0.1 rWAR in 2026 following his return from March 2025 Tommy John surgery. After working through minor league rehab and multiple major league stints, he threw 41.2 innings across 35 appearances at four organizational levels. Despite a 5.73 minor league ERA and a 10.35 MLB FIP, Criswell flashed his strikeout upside and put himself in the bullpen mix for spring training heading into 2027.
