Capitals' Ivan Miroshnichenko Granted Permission to Seek Trade

Washington Capitals winger Ivan Miroshnichenko has been granted permission to seek a fresh start as trade rumors surface. The 22-year-old, drafted 20th overall in 2022, has struggled for ice time, dressing in just three games this season. The Vancouver Canucks are reportedly interested, though Washington's asking price is at least a first-round pick. Miroshnichenko has recorded 14 points over 55 career NHL games while spending the majority of the last four years in the AHL.
