Grant Nelson Focuses on Development and Shooting with Long Island

Brooklyn Nets two-way big man Grant Nelson is using his time with the G League's Long Island Nets to continue developing his game after patellar tendinitis cut short his 2025-26 campaign. Standing at 7-foot-0, Nelson spent much of his rehab working on expanding his shooting range and versatility to fit modern NBA trends. As he prepares for the upcoming G League season opener on November 6, Nelson remains focused on refining his overall skills to eventually earn consistent minutes in Brooklyn.
