Alex Newhook Scores Twice in Canadiens Win Over Stars

Montreal Canadiens forward Alex Newhook scored two goals to lead Montreal to a 5-2 victory over the Dallas Stars on Thursday night. Newhook broke a 1-1 tie late in the first period and added his second goal early in the second period off a ricochet behind Jake Oettinger six seconds after a penalty killed. The victory was Montreal's fourth straight win, all coming in Central Division rinks without Nick Suzuki.
