Mariners Decline Victor Robles's $9 Million Contract Option

The Seattle Mariners declined outfielder Victor Robles's $9 million contract option for the upcoming season, making him eligible for free agency. Robles will now enter the open market after Seattle opted against committing to his single-year option price. The move gives the veteran outfielder the opportunity to sign with any club during the off-season as Seattle re-evaluates its outfield composition heading into free agency.
