Artem Duda Makes NHL Debut with Utah Mammoth Against Penguins

Utah Mammoth defenseman Artem Duda made his official NHL debut Thursday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, taking his rookie lap while paired with Dmitri Simashev. Drafted 36th overall in 2022 by Arizona, Duda overcame NCAA eligibility hurdles and knee surgery last season with Tucson to earn his chance. After posting three points in six AHL games this year, the blueliner earned an Oct. 20 call-up and signed a two-year contract extension.
