Joel Embiid Cleared to Play in Sixers' NBA Cup Opener Against Knicks

Joel Embiid is not listed on the injury report and will be available for the Philadelphia 76ers in Friday's NBA Cup matchup against the New York Knicks. Philadelphia is prioritizing the nationally televised group play game on Amazon Prime, enabling both Embiid and LeBron James to play in the first leg of their back-to-back. The Sixers are aiming to advance out of group play for the first time in tournament history as they suit up against New York.
