Michal Postava Reassigned to AHL Following Impressive NHL Debut

The Detroit Red Wings reassigned goaltender Michal Postava to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL on Thursday. The move comes despite Postava making an impressive NHL debut, where he turned aside 24 of 27 shots to earn a victory over the Edmonton Oilers. Postava yields his spot on the NHL roster as veteran goaltender John Gibson returns to the crease for Detroit's matchup against Chicago.
