Orioles to Decline Luis Robert's $20 Million Option for 2027

The Baltimore Orioles are expected to decline Luis Robert's $20 million club option for the 2027 season, sending him to free agency with a $2 million buyout. The 29-year-old outfielder slashed .221/.300/.407 with 11 home runs, 26 RBI, and 26 runs scored across 230 plate appearances split between the New York Mets and Orioles in 2026. Robert will now search for an opportunity to reignite his career on the open market.
