Cameron Crotty Claimed Off Waivers by Minnesota Wild From Ottawa Senators

The Minnesota Wild have claimed defenseman Cameron Crotty off waivers from the Ottawa Senators. The 27-year-old right-shot blueliner is 6-foot-3, 212 pounds, and has averaged 11:09 of ice time over three NHL games with Ottawa this season. Crotty previously captained Minnesota's AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild, during the 2024-25 season. Minnesota added the veteran of 11 career NHL contests to provide defensive depth on his $812,500 AAV contract as Brock Faber and Jared Spurgeon deal with injuries.
