Nate Eaton Traded to Athletics by Boston Red Sox in Roster Shakeup

Outfielder Nate Eaton was traded by the Boston Red Sox to the Athletics in exchange for 18-year-old minor-league pitcher Jareth Rayo. The move is part of a series of roster adjustments for the Red Sox, who must clear spots to reactivate seven players returning from the 60-day injured list ahead of the league's roster deadline.
