Brad Lord Solidifies Bulk-Inning Role in Washington Nationals Bullpen

Washington Nationals reliever Brad Lord served as a durable multi-inning weapon in 2026, throwing 83.1 innings across 40 appearances with a sub-4.00 ERA. Featuring a unique low, sling-shot release point on his four-seam fastball and sinker, Lord was the only reliever on Washington's roster for the entire season. Following a midseason IL stint, he closed out the year on a strong note, posting a 3.55 ERA and 25 strikeouts over 25.1 innings pitched after August 1st.
