Zach Agnos Shows Multi-Inning Promise Amid Workload Shift in 2026 Season

Colorado Rockies pitcher Zach Agnos logged 91.0 innings over 41 appearances (three starts, two saves) in 2026, finishing with a 5.93 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and 58 strikeouts. Agnos excelled during July and August, posting a 1.98 ERA across 27.1 innings before workload fatigue set in late. He expanded his repertoire with a slider (.161 opp AVG) and sinker alongside an effective splitter (41.9% whiff rate). Under team control until 2028 with minor-league options, he projects as a versatile bulk-inning option.
