John Gibson Slated to Start Thursday Against Blackhawks

John Gibson is expected to make his third start in the last four games as the Detroit Red Wings host the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday. Despite Daniil Tarasov returning to health to serve as the backup, head coach staff is turning to Gibson once again. Through eight appearances to begin the regular season, the veteran netminder has compiled a 3-4-1 record along with a 3.44 GAA and an .867 save percentage.
