Dylan Larkin Out Thursday as Red Wings Trade Rumors Intensify

Dylan Larkin will not play Thursday against Chicago as trade speculation heats up around the Detroit Red Wings center. Head coach Todd McLellan confirmed his absence, noting interim GM Shawn Horcoff will address the situation. Larkin, who requested a trade and expanded his preferred list to 12 teams, has six points (2G, 4A) in 10 games this season after missing training camp with an off-ice injury. He remains under contract through 2031 at an $8.7M cap hit.
