Rookie Mansoor Delane Vows Improvement After Tough Matchup

Kansas City Chiefs rookie cornerback Mansoor Delane, the 6th overall pick, struggled against Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who scored a touchdown against him. Delane views the experience as a learning opportunity, vowing to improve and actively seeking tough man-coverage assignments from DC Steve Spagnuolo, who he believes still has full confidence in him. Delane, who recorded an interception in his Week 1 debut before a shoulder injury, is focused on weekly improvement as the Chiefs face a more dangerous 5-2 Broncos team.
