Jacob Fowler Dominates Early Netminding Duties for Canadiens

Since being called up from the Laval Rocket, Montreal Canadiens rookie goaltender Jacob Fowler has gone 6-1-0 with a 0.67 GAA and .980 SV% on the road, including two shutouts and six straight wins. Fowler is just the third Habs goalie to win six straight games before age 22, joining Rogie Vachon and Patrick Roy. Having grabbed the top netminding spot, Fowler is set to start against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday, earning early Calder Trophy consideration in the process.
