J.J. McCarthy Sparks New York Giants Offense with Strong First Start

Quarterback J.J. McCarthy has impressed in early action with the New York Giants after being acquired from Minnesota for a fifth-round pick. After throwing for 243 yards in fourth-quarter relief against New Orleans, McCarthy passed for 252 yards in his first start to lead an upset victory over Houston. He completed five passes of 20-plus yards in Week 7, bringing his total to 10 since Week 6—second-most in the NFL. His recent play has ignited debate over New York's future alongside Jaxson Dart.
