Trent McDuffie Trending Toward Return for Rams in Week 8

Los Angeles Rams cornerback Trent McDuffie is trending toward playing in Week 8 after missing the last two games with a groin issue. His potential return would provide a significant boost to a defense that needs its top cornerbacks available as the regular season continues. The Rams acquired McDuffie to strengthen their pass defense, and his presence gives defensive coordinator Chris Shula another versatile coverage option as Los Angeles attempts to climb back to .500.
