Lawson Lovering Signs Two-Way Contract With Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed 7-foot center Lawson Lovering to a two-way deal to reinforce center depth, waiving AK Okereke to open a roster spot. Lovering appeared in two NBA games with the Memphis Grizzlies last season, recording an 11-point, 11-rebound effort against Utah. In 30 G League games with the Memphis Hustle, he averaged 7.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks while shooting 59.2% from the field.
