Jared Verse Sits Out Practice With Knee Swelling, Expected to Play
Cleveland Browns defensive end Jared Verse sat out Wednesday's practice due to knee swelling, but head coach Todd Monken indicated that the team's concern level is low and expects him to play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Browns held Verse out as a precautionary measure to allow the joint to rest. In addition, right tackle Tytus Howard and center Elgton Jenkins missed practice, while several other defensive players were limited.
