Caleb Williams Continues Wearing Fined Caddix Smart Cleats

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams announced Wednesday that he will continue wearing Caddix smart cleats despite an $11,941 NFL fine for unauthorized logos during Week 6. Williams explained the science-based cleats feature SmartStuds designed to relieve tension on joints and tendons, reducing injury risk over a long season. While he avoided a fine for wearing them in Week 7, the situation highlights a clash between player health tech and league licensing rules.
