Jaylin Noel Placed on Injured Reserve and Expected to Miss Rest of Season

The Houston Texans placed second-year wide receiver Jaylin Noel on injured reserve Wednesday after he sustained turf toe during Sunday's overtime loss to the Giants. Noel is expected to require surgery and will miss the remainder of the season. He finishes the year having recorded 19 receptions for 331 yards and two touchdowns on 23 targets across seven appearances, opening up additional snaps and target opportunities for the rest of Houston's pass-catching corps.
