Derwin James Suffers Setback and Faces Potential IR Stint

Los Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury that has kept him out since Week 3. Head coach Jim Harbaugh announced Wednesday that James could be placed on injured reserve as a result. If moved to IR before Sunday's matchup against the Rams, James would be sidelined until Week 12 at the earliest. He recorded 21 tackles and one pass defensed over three games.
