Brock Purdy Struggles in Week 7 Loss Amid Depleted 49ers Receiving Corps

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy experienced a difficult outing in a 29-20 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, completing 27 of 40 passes for 288 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Playing with a heavily depleted receiver room missing Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel, Purdy's passer rating fell to 75.8 as his EPA per dropback dropped to -0.087 over the past three weeks. San Francisco enters its Week 8 bye hoping to get key targets healthy.
