D.J. Wonnum Earns NFC Special Teams Player of the Week
Detroit Lions player D.J. Wonnum has been named NFC special teams player of the week after blocking a Green Bay go-ahead field goal attempt with 3:25 left in the fourth quarter. The clutch defensive play allowed Detroit to drain the clock and set up Jake Bates for a game-winning field goal as time expired. It is Wonnum's first career player of the week award. The Lions will host another divisional opponent, the Vikings, on Sunday.
