Cam Schlittler Set to Receive 2026 AL Cy Young Award

Following a dominant end to his regular season with the New York Yankees, pitcher Cam Schlittler is set to receive the 2026 American League Cy Young Award. While it remains unlikely he will take home MVP honors—aiming to become the first pitcher to win the award since Clayton Kershaw in 2014—Schlittler stands a strong chance of being named one of three finalists for the AL MVP. He previously spoke to the media ahead of Game 1 of the ALDS.
