Jake Allen Slated to Start Wednesday Against Avalanche

New Jersey Devils goaltender Jake Allen will start on the road Wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche in the second leg of a back-to-back set. Allen steps into the crease after Connor Hellebuyck earned a 5-1 win in his Devils debut on Tuesday. With Hellebuyck's arrival in New Jersey, Allen's playing time is expected to decrease significantly. Through seven appearances this season, the veteran netminder holds a 5-2-0 record with a 2.84 GAA.
